New School Year

Wow what a great start to the new school year, it is hard to believe how fast that the first six weeks has come and gone.  Students have really worked hard in the classroom to set the tone for the rest of the year.  Flex time has been going well with students focusing on the ACT test as well as the end of course exams.  Panhandle High School hosted an ACT Boot Camp in Septermber that gave great hints and information to over 100 area students in the hopes of helping them to raise their scores.

The football and cross country teams are rounding into shape in preparation for district and post district contest.  The Pride of Panhandle band has around 90 members and they look and sound great.  The ag shop has a new plasma cutter that is top notch and we can’t wait to see the projects they produce with their new technology.  

I have to say we have the best students and staff at Panhandle High School.  There are so many GREAT things going on at PHS.  Feel free to come by and see us.
